Q: My new glasses cause head pressure around my ears and the frames are not too tight.
Could the type of lenses be causing the problem??
A: Hello
If you say the frame cannot do this, then is probably the lenses.
Sometimes, when you wear the glasses for the first time, and you changed diopters (stronger), or is your first pair of eyeglasses, your eyes need a period of accommodation.
In this accommodation time, you may experience headaches, excessive tearing, or this pressure you are talking about.
Usually, it goes away in a few days if not, you should go back to your optician and explain the situation because maybe the diopters are too strong for you and you need a change.
Hope this helps,
