Q: Both my sons have very high Rx in the range of -14, so their glasses are very thick even in the high index.
They are both young active boys though, and their glasses have cause small cuts on the upper parts of their cheeks or their eyelids from normal active playing.
Is there anything I can do to prevent these cuts?
A:
Hello,
I think here the problem is the size of the frame.
You should find smaller frames with adjustable notepads so the optician can adjust the eyeglass directly on the face so it does not touch the face.
Hope this helps,
